Tennis Elbow?! - But I don't even play tennis!
Tennis elbow is a common elbow condition we see, but most people that get it don't even play tennis! Find out more about what this condition is, and how we treat it at Asquith Health.
Our friendly team of Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Exercise Physiologists, Dietitians and Podiatrists will get you healthy, and keep you healthy. Whether it's a sore knee, a kink in your neck, exercising after heart surgery, losing weight, or that stubborn ingrown toe nail, we've got you covered. We're conveniently located inside the Dural Family Medical Practice, which is located at the roundabout at the intersection between New Line Road and Old Northern Road (behind the McDonalds and KFC).
Sick of the Physiotherapists who just stick a heat pack on you, put some machines on, then walk out the room? So are we! All our Physios at Your Health Sport and Spine only see one person at a time, will do a full assessment, provide hands on treatment where needed, and then give you some good exercises to stop the problem from coming back! We can also cast broken bones, fit you with braces and splints, help you navigate workplace injuries, and get you to perform at your best.
Do you feel like there's more to treatment than just a five minute crack of your whole body? So do we! All our Chiropractors at Your Health Sport and Spine actually spend time with you to understand your problem, provide the right treatment (this might include some cracking), then give you some specific exercises to make sure the issue doesn't come back. The best Chiropractor is the one you don't have to see anymore!
Exercise is one of the best treatments available that helps people with chronic health conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, and arthritis. Using a range of techniques such as physical assessments, fitness testing, and exercise prescription, our Exercise Physiologists at Your Health Sport and Spine can help you improve your physical and mental health, overall fitness, and performance. Achieve your desired outcomes and work out with one of the best personal trainers you'll ever have!
Our Dietitians at Your Health Sport and Spine are passionate about educating you on the role of nutrition in managing and preventing various health conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease. We not only specialise in food and nutrition, but we will work with you to develop personalised meal plans and provide guidance on making healthy food choices, and help you get to the best version of yourself!
All our appointments are provided as one on one sessions in private rooms, so you can tell your story, be treated, and recover with our full attention and privacy.
Tell us what you'd like to get out of seeing us, and we can work towards it. This could be something simple like getting out of pain, being able to play sports again, or losing weight.
Don't get lost in all the medical jargon. Our team can help you understand what's going with your condition, decode any scans, and put in place a management plan to help you recover.
We know everyone is unique and responds to different treatments. Whether it's hands on therapy, a gym based exercise program, or a vegan diet plan, we'll be there to provide you with what works best.
We use clever exercise software which gives you access to your exercise plan anytime, anywhere, on any device. Don't like complicated technology? That's OK, we can also just print them out on paper for you too!
Already got a good doctor, specialist, or personal trainer? With regular communication, we'll make sure that everyone who's involved is kept in the loop, so they know what's going on and how you're progressing.
At Your Health Sport and Spine, all our sessions are one on one in a private room where we can really get to know you and hear your full story. We also have a mini gym where we can guide you through all the exercises you'll need to do to get better.
